Dreadlocks
Using your choice of DPNs and A, make a selection of 4-stitch i-cords.
I made a total of 28 dreadlocks, each approximately 40cm (16in) long, using DPNs in sizes 4.5mm (US 7), 5mm (US 8), 6.5mm (US 10½), 7mm (US 11) (an equal number of each).
However, the length, size and number of dreadlocks you make is entirely up to you.
Once you have made enough dreadlocks for your taste, stitch the tops of them along the inside of the rim of the hat, making sure that the ‘seam line’ sits at the back of the hat and that you leave a wide enough opening at the front.
And so your colourful Rasta hat is completed, hooray!
